This publish is a few purchaser's experience within the face of a dishonest vendor. Everyone I've talked to at Binance P2P help have been very responsive and supporting, however the attraction has not had any impact thus far.

tl:dr;

• Bought ~3500USDT from a seller on P2P and haven't acquired my crypto or refund
• Final update at 120 hours into the attraction
• Vendor lied throughout the attraction; about not receiving cost and about refunding
• Attraction has had little of consequence from both vendor or Buyer Help beyond lies from the vendor and "robust words"

Hopefully it'll be a helpful example for others, and when you have any advice I'm all ears.

The beginning

I'm fairly new to P2P trading, but I've traded with a few dozen merchants. By no means had any points, every thing was all the time dealt with professionally and well timed. Then this occurred.

• Discovered ad for financial institution on the spot cost, shopping for ~3500USDT. Stated hi to the seller and proceeded to wire the cash as I've accomplished successfully before and after

• After vendor has acquired the cost, then some further requirements propped up. They want a replica of my ID, they need a screenshot of the transaction, they want a selfie with a handwritten notice. Next thing the ID I sent (driver's license) wasn't legitimate, it had to be a passport. I did ship all of this
• After virtually two hours of forwards and backwards I filed an attraction. The vendor was not responsive and I was no nearer to my crypto nor a refund

The Attraction

I'm pretty new to P2P trading and that is my first attraction. My first attraction ever in the whole lot truly. So I wasn't positive what to expect

• Then got here the reply from the vendor

• The selfie, I discovered two days later, was required to have my face subsequent to ( as in in addition to) a handwritten notice. I held the handwritten notice under my face. The seller didn't care to inform me of this on the time, although I requested and asked.
• I additionally don't know what was insulting, I've requested each the seller and Binance P2P Help
• The not acquired cost was a lie. It was prompt transfer so the money had literally left my account and was in the sellers account. So this was also straightforward to disprove with a video

8 hours into the appeal

• Progress! Or so I assumed. We're now 10 hours into the commerce, 8 hours within the attraction

From this point on, nothing of consequence happens. Deadlines are set. The seller does nothing, or lies. New deadlines are set.

18 hours into the appeal

• We did not agree. I stated I don't care, money or USDT, but I want my funds. The vendor stated that may refund, but "it can take a while

• This was a blatant lie by the seller, which turned obvious afterward

• CS issued "robust wording" and included a warning. I obtained hopeful we might truly see some progress!

71 hours into the appeal

• Okay, their account was suspended. So one thing happened, however I'm no nearer to receiving my funds or refund.

• The vendor had uploaded a video displaying a scheduled cost in 5 days and pretended it was proof of cost. This is identical you do for payments you need to pay in the future and no proof of cost. THIS was the refund that had been "in progress" for the past three days. It had all been a LIE! The above was my reply.

78 hours into the appeal

• I don't know what happened right here, perhaps the vendor talked with Binance P2P help. In any case, it was simply another lie.

87 hours into the appeal

• The vendor wasn't capable of produce the video evidence naturally. Because there was no refund.
• Here I used to be truly hopeful something would happen, however no such luck apparently

91 hours into the appeal

• The seller had uploaded the same video as earlier than of the scheduled cost and pretended it was proof of cost. Not even a brand new video, the SAME video.

97 hours into the appeal

99 hours into the appeal

• The vendor reuploaded a screenshot from the SAME video as earlier, displaying a scheduled cost, not a proof of cost. However, the deadline is extended yet again.

104 hours into the appeal

• My reply, obviously no cash has arrived since there was no proof of cost

111 hours into the appeal

• The reply from Buyer Help. Another deadline, asking me to point out proof of a non-existent transaction

120 hours into the appeal

• I truly referred to as my bank for them to verify that a non-existent transaction did in truth not exist. The vendor offered zero updates. None! The outcome: another 6 hours to "ensure they've a fair alternative to offer their proof". One would assume 120 hours is beyond truthful...
